Activities and events
The City of Tornio Cultural Services are actively involved in creating and producing events, organized both independently and in cooperation with various partners. The City’s Cultural Services organizes annual events such as the Kalottjazz & Blues Festival, Tornio anniversary festivities, the Peräpohjola street market, and Independence Day celebrations.
The City’s Cultural Office also rents out equipment and facilities, such as:
- the exhibition space in the City Hall lobby
- interpretation equipment
- exhibition stand
- benches
- the artist residence Viippola for visiting artists
