Morning and afternoon clubs for pupils
The City of Tornio organizes morning and afternoon club activities for those first and second grade pupils and special needs pupils in grades 3 to 9 who would otherwise be required to spend time alone at home before or after the school day, due to the work or education commitments of parents.
Pastimes at the clubs include games, crafts and creative activities. Participation in morning and afternoon clubs is subject to a fee. The fee includes activities and care, a snack, materials, insurance, and possible transportation for trips and events arranged by the service. A sibling discount of half the fee applies starting from the second child.
