Welcome to Tornio Swimming Center
The indoor swimming hall in Tornio features a main pool, a children’s pool and a therapy pool, a pool for training purposes, a cold pool, a jacuzzi, a children’s wading pool, and a slide. The 25-meter main pool has six lanes. Next to the main pool, there’s a diving pool with one and three meter diving boards and a five-meter diving tower. The temperature in the children’s pool and therapy pool is + 30C.
Persons with reduced mobility have access to both the main pool and the therapy pool by lift. Even the washing facilities are accessible. Both women and men have two saunas, one with space for wheelchair users. There is also an accessible toilet for disabled persons. The swimming center has been completely renovated in 2017–2018.
The indoor swimming pool is open every day
- Monday 10 am to 9 pm
- Tuesday- Friday 7 am to 9 pm
- Saturday–Sunday 10 am to 5 pm
The cash desk and the gates are closed one hour before closing time. The swimming pool will close 30 minutes before closing time.
Remember to put your swimsuit or your swimming trunks on only after washing.
