Edith Hammar – Boots Filled with Water 28.11.2025 – 22.2.2026
The solo exhibition Boots Filled with Water / Stövlar fyllda med vatten / Saappaat täynnä vettä presents, for the first time in Finland, the work of finnish-swedish artist Edith Hammar, who is based in Gothenburg. Born in 1992, Hammar published several award-winning graphic novels, and their work has been exhibited in venues such as Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
The exhibition Boots Filled with Water explores themes of water, log driving traditions, and lumberjack culture, all of which intersect in Hammar’s art with a playful surrealism, humor, and physicality.
